VOCAL TEACHING
As a voice teacher, I am passionate about vocal health, and efficient and expressive vocal performance. I have studied, and continue to study, a wide range of vocal pedagogical approaches across varied MT, CCM and classical styles. Ever-evolving as musical styles and vocal demands are – particularly in the musical theatre canon, my own pedagogy is evidence-based and physiologically-informed, engages detailed musical and dramaturgical interpretation, and is performance-focused.
Whether it’s to address a particular technique or area of concern, expand and explore your vocal palette, or refine your repertoire book, lessons are flexible and tailored to every performer.
I offer individual lessons in person at my studio in Parkdale, Melbourne, and online classes can be arranged if required.
TRANSCRIPTION, ARRANGEMENTS
& ORCHESTRATION
I work with you to conceptualise and create a piano-vocal transcription or bespoke arrangement of your chosen piece, and offer orchestration and score production services for any and all performance settings, large or small.
I can also assist with song-writing and compositional techniques should the piece be original or in development.
Sound-alike score production available, with copyright permissions to be attained by client.

COPYING & SCORE PREPARATION
Using Sibelius software, I offer typesetting of your existing scores, editing and reorchestration, instrumental part creation, and printing/taping services for ensembles of any size.

VOCAL COACHING & AUDITION PREPARATION
With extensive repertoire knowledge and wide experience in the musical theatre genre, I offer vocal coaching and one-off audition preparation sessions, centring around song performance.
I can assist at any stage in the process of preparation, from suggesting an appropriate audition song or making a musically interesting cut, to refining and detailing your existing repertoire.
A take-home backing track of your cut is included, along with either an edited score or information on how to efficiently edit your music in preparation for an audition.
MUSICIANSHIP, AURAL TRAINING& THEORY TUITION
I have taught aural training and theory across several tertiary institutions including Melbourne Conservatorium of Music, Box Hill TAFE, and The Defence Force School of Music. I enjoy teaching all skill levels, with a particular interest in assisting professional performers with listening and theory skills.
